We finally got someone to come out and trim the trees. The insurance company had been after us because some of the branches were really close to the roof or to windows. I got an email this morning from Bridgecrest, the finance company that holds the lien on my car, that State Farm had declared my car a total loss. Not meaning it couldn't be repaired, just that the cost of doing so would exceed the value. JFC, that woman barely tapped a corner of my bumper going about 5 mph. It looks like we're going to get Tropical Storm Francine--possibly cat 1 Hurricane Francine--on Wednesday.
